FAQs
When and where does the club meet?
The club meets every 2nd Sunday of the month from 2-4pm at Contra Costa Coffee (2238 Oak Grove Rd. Walnut Creek, CA 94598)
How does the Craft of the Month work?
For each event you have the option to add the Craft of the Month for $10 when you RSVP, which covers all tools, materials, and instructions for that month’s project. For non-members, the Craft of the Month is automatically included in the $25 drop-in fee.
Is there a discount on the drop-in fee if I bring my own project?
You’re always welcome to bring your own project as a drop-in participant, but there’s no discount on the drop-in fee, which includes the Craft of the Month. If you want the flexibility to decide whether you pay for the monthly craft, consider a 3-pack or full membership.
Do I need to register for events as a full member?
Yes. Even though your membership covers unlimited events, an RSVP is required so we can plan seating and supplies. Your RSVP is also where you’ll choose whether to add the Craft of the Month for that meetup.
Am I guaranteed a space at events if I purchase a 3-pack or full membership?
Priority registration for members and 3-pack holders opens 3 weeks before each event, and the goal is to have space for everyone in these tiers who RSVPs during that window. If an event fills up, a waitlist will open, so RSVPing early is strongly encouraged.
Can I drop in without registering in advance?
Day-of drop-ins may be accepted if there’s room, but extra space and supplies can’t be guaranteed. Registering in advance is the best way to save your spot – be sure to sign up for event notifications so you get the registration link as soon as the member priority window closes.
